Latham fiberglass pools accept underwater LED lights in two ways: a factory-installed light niche set during pool installation, or a nicheless LED fixture retrofitted through the return line on an existing pool. Either way you get color-changing pool lights that run on low voltage, draw a fraction of the power of the old halogen fixtures, and last for years without a bulb change.

We install LED pool lighting three ways. On a new pool, lights go in during construction, with the transformer, GFCI protection and conduit placed before the deck is poured, which is the cheapest time to add them. On an existing pool, we replace failed or yellowed halogen lights with LED, or add a nicheless light where there was none. And around the pool, we add low-voltage deck, step and landscape lighting on the same transformer so the whole yard is lit from one controller.
